Any humanoid caught in the area must make a *Luck* (Dex) save or become hopelessly buried in rubble (50% chance, taking 1d4 hours to dig out), or fatally crushed by falling material or grinding fissures (50% chance). The earthquake’s tremors do not extend in any way beyond the [[Spell List|spell]]’s area of effect. Channeling a quake is incredibly taxing and dangerous, so much so that this [[Spell List|spell]] may only be cast once per year (on a Great Success, twice). In addition it triggers a [[Dark and Dangerous Magic|DDM]] effect, and permanently drains 1 point of both *Luck* and [[Attributes|Con]].
