Fervor is a highly addictive drug of secret ingredients created by the Flagellants. It is a milky liquid tinged with green that is dropped directly into the eyes to induce a frenzied high. Those under the effects of Fervor have substantially dulled reasoning and become far more suggestable, being willing to undertake suicidal ventures. Most infamously the Confession uses the drug during its interrogation processes to extract information, and psychologically condition subjects to become Sacrificants. Frequent use of Fervor commonly results in bloody and pussy eyes, which can lead to blindness if not correctly treated.
