Named for the great hero himself, Andar is at once a land of knightly chivalry and abject inequality. Once home to the primitive Eavrins, it was conquered by [[Old Ildir]] and rose to power as an independent nation under the leadership of Rhydrin the Just after the empire’s fall. Its capital of Andaris is the largest city in Runera and home to the Godspire, the seat of the [[Hand of Alor|Hand]]’s power. Today, Andar is a country of opposites: dukes, barons, and earls enjoy lives of luxury within the many castles that dot the rolling hills and vast forests of its countryside, while starving common folk toil endlessly in fallowed farmlands and city-dwellers eke out meager opportunities in dung-laden streets. One might hope that the knights of Andar’s many chivalric orders would rise to defend the common people, but rarely do these pampered sons of noblemen live up to the lofty ideals of their lodges. Such apathy allows the [[Hand of Alor|Hand]] to inflict some of its greatest brutalities against Andarans, particularly [[Elves|elves]], [[Dwarves|dwarves]], and others of unmanish blood, who all struggle desperately to find peace within this jaundiced kingdom. - **Native Language:** [[Languages|Old Ildirian]] | 1d20 | Male Name | 1d20 | Female Name | | ---- | --------- | ---- | ----------- | | 1 | Edwin | 1 | Alina | | 2 | Baldric | 2 | Anora | | 3 | Bennet | 3 | Edith | | 4 | Aldred | 4 | Isolde | | 5 | Godwin | 5 | Lora | | 6 | Terric | 6 | Sabina | | 7 | Thurstan | 7 | Ida | | 8 | Warin | 8 | Elyl | | 9 | Wimarc | 9 | Berta | | 10 | Leofin | 10 | Sarra | | 11 | Eadric | 11 | Hera | | 12 | Gamel | 12 | Ryla | | 13 | Falk | 13 | Frelde | | 14 | Ranulf | 14 | Leofwe | | 15 | Samer | 15 | Saewynn | | 16 | Forwin | 16 | Liffild | | 17 | Amalric | 17 | Catlin | | 18 | Orun | 18 | Braya | | 19 | Cedric | 19 | Felys | | 20 | Jastyr | 20 | Yelda |
