The isolationist [[Wood Elves|Glamílfran]] clánns of Tir Lhyrfél wander the treacherous expanses of the [[Emerald Forest]]: an unending sea of primeval and forbidding greenery, from which [[Elves|elves]] first emerged into Runera millennia ago. Tir Lhyrfél was established after the [[Coalescence]] when seven [[Wood Elves|Glamílfran]] clánns followed the legendary White Elk westward into the heart of the [[Emerald Forest]]. There, they discovered the Great Tree Elaithreádh, and in celebration cannibalized the White Elk in an orgiastic blood-feast. The Lhyrfélans would not be united for long; they split into their separate clánns and returned to their itinerant lifestyle, only reuniting at Elaithreádh for the yearly winter gathering of Aelyhaíne. As they travel through the [[Emerald Forest]], the clánns make seasonal camps beneath Magaírlan, so-called Trees of Memory, from the branches of which hang hundreds of skulls belonging to dead clánn kin. It is here that a clánn's *draoithe* leads them in wailing laments called *cíhns* so they might harmonize with the Green Cíhn: a mournful song first sung by Serydwen herself which is said to permeate all things, living and dead. The Cíhn is of utmost importance to Lhyrfélans, who believe it was during its *cíhning* that Serydwen wept the [[Elves|elven]] race into being. While the *draoithe* are the spiritual leaders of Lhyrfélan clánns, they are otherwise radically non-hierarchal, with resources being split equally amongst all members. Children too are shared amongst clánn kin; each child may possess multiple fathers and mothers, with every [[Elves|elf]] who laid with a child's birth-mother shortly before or during pregnancy taking on parental responsibility. - **Native Language:** [[Languages|Glamtín]] | 1d20 | Male Name | 1d20 | Female Name | 1d20 | **Clan Name** | | ---- | ----------- | ---- | ----------- | ---- | ------------- | | 1 | Cuirealan | 1 | Teàrlaidh | 1 | Soghain | | 2 | Tuathal | 2 | Nilidh | 2 | Dúnlainge | | 3 | Muireach | 3 | Síthmaith | 3 | Loígis | | 4 | Iùrnan | 4 | Áinfean | 4 | Ceinnsealaigh | | 5 | Feidlimid | 5 | Bláthnaid | 5 | Cairbre | | 6 | Iarlaithe | 6 | Líadan | 6 | Bairrche | | 7 | Mellán | 7 | Siobhan | 7 | Dhuibhne | | 8 | Rígbarddán | 8 | Aoife | 8 | Erainn | | 9 | Daireánach | 9 | Máiréad | 9 | Airgíalla | | 10 | Ruadhánán | 10 | Síle | 10 | Laoghdne | | 11 | Conallán | 11 | Fionnghuala | 11 | Araide | | 12 | Aodhán | 12 | Ríoghnaithe | 12 | Briúin | | 13 | Senach | 13 | Máirghréad | 13 | Dealbhna | | 14 | Báetán | 14 | Ailisín | 14 | Fiachrach | | 15 | Ruaidhrí | 15 | Caelionna | 15 | Eoghanacht | | 16 | Dúnlainge | 16 | Bréanainn | 16 | Cianacht | | 17 | Fionntánach | 17 | Fionnán | 17 | Luachra | | 18 | Aengusán | 18 | Gráinne | 18 | Cholmáin | | 19 | Labhraidh | 19 | Lochlaith | 19 | Fiachach | | 20 | Neasán | 20 | Aíbinn | 20 | Teathbha | > [!quote|no-t] > **A Note on Lhyrfélan Names** > Lhyrfélan names differ from [[Elves|elven]] tradition in that they consist of a first name, followed by the word **an** and then a clánn name.
