Lothrir is the god of knowledge, learning, and logic. Ancient tomes speak of the Eternal War of Knowledge which he has waged against [[Whydith]], goddess of secrets, since the Making of the World. It is said that while Lothrir wishes to catalogue and comprehend all of reality, [[Whydith]] considers it her duty to protect the ineffable secrets of the universe. Scholars, philosophers, students, and teachers are all known to worship Lothrir; some pray for a grand elucidation in their chosen field of study, while others desire a glimpse of a specific tome in Lothrir’s near-infinite collection in his Halls of Rumination. Lothrir's symbol is an upside-down triangle with a single eye in its centre, and he is often depicted as a hooded [[Men|man]] with a cyclops eye and skin composed of rune-covered parchment.
