Goblins, or G'hrum, are a furtive but fierce race of greenskins bound in unbreakable packs by a psychic hivemind. Their lot in Runera is a grim one: they are deeply hated for the crimes committed by their ancestors while under Balcorion's control, and thus have nearly been hunted to extinction by the dominant races. Goblins are short and thin, though not lacking for sinewy muscle; they have brighter green skin than orcs and enormous almond-shaped red eyes. Their pointed and finned ears jut out broadly from their large heads, while coarse hair grows thickly from their scalps to their cheeks, and can also be found on their forearms, hands, calves, and feet. Their wide and lipless mouths are lined with piranha-like teeth, which aid greatly in their strictly carnivore diets. Their hands are clawed and incredibly dextrous, and are joined by another pair of identical hands in place of feet. Famously, they possess long tails lined with short spikes that they can easily use to grasp objects and hang from tree branches. Every goblin is a part of a telepathic hivemind they call a *Hrumm,* each of which is localized to a particular tribe. While the *Hrumm* does not psychically communicate spoken language, it easily allows for the transference of abstract ideas, emotions, and sensations. As such, goblins are famed for being "of one mind," frequently finishing each others sentences and speaking the same words at once. A goblin's connection to the *Hrumm* grows weaker the further away they are from other tribe members, but its psychic tethers can still stretch over many miles. If a goblin becomes displaced from their *Hrumm* or its other members are exterminated, they will fall into a deep depression that can prove fatal if they do not find a new hivemind to bond with.
- **Age:** Goblins mature rapidly, reaching adulthood after only three years and may live upwards of three or four decades.
- **Young:** 2d6 years.
- **Old:** 25 + 2d10 years.
- **Size:** Goblins are short and sinewy, averaging 3 – 3.5 ft and 35 – 45 lbs.
- **Small:** You cannot wield large [[weapons]] such as greatswords, polearms, and long bows. You require two hands to use longswords or similar moderately sized [[weapons]] (they do not gain the usual +1 damage bonus for doing so, if applicable).
- **Nightsight:** You have better night vision than most [[men]], but are just as blind in the absence of light.
- **Monstrous:** You are resistant to damage from non-silvered weapons, but you have disadvantage on Cha checks made against non-goblins.
- **Tree Dweller:** You have a normal Climb speed and may hold objects or wield weapons in your foot-hands (minimum of one limb required to stand). You may also hang from your tail and hold objects in it, but not wield weapons.
- **Hrumm-Kin:** You must play as a minimum of two goblins, each with their own unique attributes, classes, and backgrounds. The following effects apply:
- Each of your goblins' **maximum hit points** (min 1 HP) are divided by the number of goblins you choose to play as.
- You may play as a **maximum of four goblins.**
- Gain a **bonus to your *Luck* and AC** equal to the number of goblins you are playing as beyond the first (i.e. playing as 2 goblins provides a +1 bonus, playing as 3 provides +2, etc).
- Your goblins gain advantage when rolling to perform **Rescues** on each other.
- You can **psychically communicate** abstract ideas, feelings, and sensations between your goblins so long as they are within 6 miles of each other.
- If you are reduced to only one goblin, you **suffer disadvantage on all your rolls.** If you do not find another goblin to bond with within 2d6 weeks, you die of heart-break.
- **Goblins Together Strong!** Once per adventure, one of your goblins may use their action to give another advantage on all rolls (all die types) during their next turn.
